Over the years, I have illustrated and often designed patient information leaflets for different clients. I enjoy learning about new topics and turning complex information into clear, accessible illustrations. I like working with a lot of information and shaping it into something that feels friendly and easy to understand.
I also think it is important to show diversity in these kinds of leaflets. They are made for many different people, bodies, and identities, while the hospital context still too often shows a narrow, mostly male, cisgender, heterosexual, and white perspective. With my visual language, I aim to create more recognition and inclusivity.
