Lucas Braak (They/them), is a queer
multidisciplinary freelance artist based in Amsterdam, NL. 

They love playing with color, material, and ideas, working across illustration, design, painting, animation, and ceramics.

Their work explores themes of bodies, life, love, gender, and sexuality often with a playful or unsettling twist. Through vibrant and expressive creations, they aim to make these subjects more accessible, encouraging conversations both with others and within ourselves.

Their art blends soft and bold, sometimes comforting, sometimes a little cheeky but it can also be confronting. They don’t just create images that spark curiosity, invite reflection, or make people smile, they also want their work to challenge, carry a message, and make people think. Whether their art feels inviting or provocative, they hope it inspires a deeper connection with both the self and the world.
